 Hey, guys today web applications are very important for all of us because all the basic works, practically every useful function we could impliment online.


These are the some of the common web applications that we use regularly in our life:-

* Shopping (Amazon)
* Social Networking (Instagram\Facebook)
* Banking (Paytm\Paypal)
* Web search (Google)
* Food (Zomato)
* Web logs (Blogger)
* Web mails (G-mail)
* Interactive Media (Wikipedia\adityaverse)


All the web pages which is accessed by using a browser are increasily overlaps with mobile applications that are accessed by any device which has internet facility. Most of our mobile applications or browsers uses HTTP-based API's to communicate with servers.

Web applications not only fulfill the uses of public internet but in addition this have been widely adopted inside organisations to support business functions, and also most of these provides access to highly sensitive data and functionality.


* HR applications are used to access pyroll information give and receive performance feed back, and manage recrcitment and desiplinary procedures.


* Collaboration software are basically used for sharing the documents, managing works flow and projects and teracking issues. This types of functionality also include critical security and governance issues.


* Business applications like enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, were accessed by using a proprietary thick client appliation. Now this will also accessed by using a web browser.


* Some of our old desktop applications like wordprocessors and spreadsheet have been switched to applications such as Google Apps and Microsoft Office Live.


In all the examples we are using "Internet" applications are increasingly being hosted externally as organizations moves outside service provides to cut costs.
The time is changing very fast there was also a time that the only client sofware thst computer users will need a web browser.
A variety of functions will be done or implimented using a shared set of protocols and technologies, and in order to doing this we will have inherited a distinctive range of common security vulnerabilities.
